This one will be going straight into our seasonal house blend at our coffee cart in Sefton Park holding 50% of the blend. if you've had a coffee recently at the park you definitely would have had some of this one.

A great one for any milk based coffees or traditional vibes as a black one. Roasted Medium to bring out those deep bold flavours with milk.

Producer Info

The Natural Sarava Lot is an exceptional blend of naturally processed coffees. The coffees are grown at altitudes between 1000-1150 m.a.s.l. Produced by the Urban family, a traditional coffee farming family of both first and second generations, the father and his older children own a 1755-hectare farm, Rio Brilhante. Of this, 840 hectares are dedicated to coffee production, and 566 hectares are set aside for preservation. The family impacts the local economy by employing 87 local workers and 199 temporary workers.

The farm is located in the Coromandel municipality of Minas Gerais, where various
coffee varieties are produced, including Catuaí 99, Catuaí 144, and more exotic varieties such as Arara and Topázio.

This coffee is picked using coffee machines and then hand-sorted to select the best cherries. Cherries that are part of our SARAVÁ lot are transferred to a concrete patio for 8 days to sun-dry, then moved to rotary dryers for 40 hours to finish the drying process.

The lot is a blend of Arara and Catuaí 62 varieties.

Rio Brilhante is not just a coffee farm; the Urban family views it as a business project focused on impacting the coffee community and their families, mitigating climate change.
